Notes on the Digital Edition
Please read the notes below to clarify the format in which ACE Digital Agreements are delivered and how can you purchase and access them.
What are you getting?
1. Online ONLY service
ACE Digital Agreements can only be completed online. You cannot download a PDF or MS Word copy and complete on your computer due to copyright restrictions. Consequently, in order to use them, you need to be connected to the Internet as this is an online only e-business service.
2. Activation for Specific Project
You will purchase a licence to use ACE Agreement for a particular project. You will have the flexibility to make changes for a period of 6 months from the license activation (you can extend this period by acquiring a new licence).
2. Export to PDF, Email and Print
Once you have purchased and activated your license you have unlimited rights to modify, export to PDF, print and email your ACE Digital Agreement, within the first 6 months. All your PDF’s will have a timestamp, the name of the project for which they have been activated and the ACE Licence Number printed on the header and footer of each page.
How do I obtain an ACE Digital Agreement?
1. Register an Account
In order to be able to use this service you need to register an account on ACENET. If you already have an account, please login. If you work for an ACE member firm, please register an account with your work email address. By doing so, we will be able to instantly recognize your membership status and charge you at preferential member rates.
2. Purchase a Licence
Please login into your account and after that please proceed to purchase a licence.
3. Activate your Licence
You don’t have to activate your license straight away. Remember, you will only have 6 months from activation to work on your contract. You can delay the activation of your licence as long as it suits you. However, if you haven’t activated your licence you won’t be able to export a copy to PDF.
4. Fill in, change, export to PDF, print and email
Now that you have activated your licence, you can do any changes, anytime, from any computer with an Internet connection. You can work on your agreement, save it, come back later, export and print or email. If you don’t close the contract in the first 6 months since you activated the licence, you can purchase an extension licence for another 6 months.
